School Uniforms

It is very important that children come dressed in school uniform each school day.

Why do we wear uniform?

  • Build school community

  • Enable identification in the wider community

  • Create equality (no-one trying to out do each other with fashion)

  • Uniforms are designed so that students can maximise learning opportunities ie: shorts appropriate for PE.

  • The blob of paint that occasionally gets spilt won't ruin the favourite hoodie.

If you have lost your uniform item and it is named, it will eventually make its way back to you.

The supplier for our school uniform is Lowes Gungahlin.

Just a reminder that second hand uniforms are available through the P&C - see ad later in this newsletter.

NAPLAN

NAPLAN Online will occur in our school between 10 and 20 May 2022.

NAPLAN Online is a more engaging assessment that adjusts questions to each student’s achievement level. It also delivers more precise results to schools and parents more quickly.

NAPLAN provides valuable information to schools and parents about literacy and numeracy achievement. It supports school improvement processes by enabling teachers to monitor student progress over time and to identify areas of strength and development.

All eligible students are encouraged and supported to participate in NAPLAN testing. Visit www.nap.edu.au to see interactive versions of the test and for more information.
